Microtechnologies for next generation in vitro models
What we offerCSEM develops engineering solutions based on microtechnology that enable improved in vitro models. Microfabricated microporous membranes offer new possibilities for co-culture and for investigating nanoparticle uptake. Microfluidics technologies are used as platform for drug screening as well as for toxicology testing, and, further, as tools for the production of microcarriers for cell handling. Finally, integrated sensors - electrochemical, optical and electrical – allow online monitoring of cellular and tissue responses to external stimuli.
